Members are invited for a director’s tour and wine reception of Stamford’s award-winning, not-for-profit contemporary art space, Franklin Street Works on Sunday, August 19. Creative Director, Terri C Smith, will walk us through the current exhibition, My Vicious Throbbing Heart: Animating Desire in Abstract Painting, which features internationally exhibiting artists: Claire Arctander & Latham Zearfoss, Anna Betbeze, Leidy Churchman, Anne Cousineau, Keltie Ferris, Matt Morris, Carrie Moyer, Lisi Raskin, Sigrid Sandstrӧm, Laurel Sparks, and Molly Zuckerman-Hartung.

A Contemporary Tasting and Book Signing

Join us on Friday, October 5, for a members-only tasting at 6:30pm prior to the talk and book signing (ticket purchase required). Receive a complimentary copy of the The Connecticut Farm Table Cookbook and meet co-authors Tracey Medeiros and Salvatore Bagliavio. Learn about Connecticut’s regional farm-to-table movement and the relationship between the restaurant and the farmer. The talk will be followed by a wine reception and tasting of Bailey’s Backyard’s recipes found in the cookbook, prepared by Chef Zachariah Campion.
