Roz Chast at The Aldrich; CBS Sunday Morning to Film
Ridgefield CT (February 2007): Roz Chast—New Yorker cartoonist, author of Theories of Everything, chronicler of the neurotic zeitgeist in one and all—will present a slide show and sign copies of her new book at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum on Thursday, March 22, at 8 pm. This will inaugurate a new event at the Museum, For Members, By Members, where an Aldrich member will be invited to share his or her passion and expertise at a members-only event. A member of The Aldrich for over ten years, Chast, with creative talent to burn, is the perfect person to kick off the series. Theories of Everything has received outstanding coverage, including a rave review in TheNew York Times, and has recently been reprinted after selling out.
To add further interest to the evening, the news show "CBS Sunday Morning" will be at the Museum to film Chast for a forthcoming profile. After the slide show, there will be time for a Q&A with Chast and a reception with light refreshments.
